Prices include Liability Insurance, Theft Coverage, and 20% Value Added Tax. The daily mileage limit for daily car rentals is 500 km, with a limit of 4000 km per contract for rentals of 7 days or more. For monthly car rentals, the mileage limit is 3000 km.
The excess mileage fee varies by vehicle group, and you can obtain detailed information from our reservation center or offices.
Additional charges such as Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance, Mini Damage Coverage, Optional Financial Liability Coverage, One-Way Fee, Delivery/Pickup Fee (0-26 km), Baby Seat, Navigation, Additional Driver, and Bridge and Toll Pass Usage Fee are calculated separately based on office availability.
Vehicles are delivered to the customer with a full tank of fuel. In cases where the vehicle is returned with less or empty tank, the fuel difference, along with a service fee, will be charged.
In the event of picking up a vehicle in one city and returning it to another, a one-way fee determined by TripX Car Rent will apply. Fee information varies by office and can be seen during the reservation process. For detailed information, you can contact our Reservation Center.
To allow a person other than the renter to use the vehicle, the additional driver's Driver's License information must be added to the Rental Agreement for an additional fee. The additional driver must come to our offices to sign the relevant contract. In case of any accidents involving users not specified in the rental agreement, all guarantees are considered void, and both the renter and the person(s) using the vehicle are held responsible separately and jointly. For pricing and detailed information, you can call our Reservation Center. (Additional driver rental conditions are the same as Driver's License and Age Restrictions.)
The total rental amount and security deposits are collected at the beginning of the rental using the credit card belonging to the person renting the vehicle, with their name, surname, and credit card number on it. Cash payment, debit, and virtual card applications are not available.
The rental agreement is opened during the rental and is regulated according to the laws and practices of the country where the rental takes place. General Rental Terms and Conditions of TripX Car Rent are valid for all rentals.
Any difference in the invoice amount that may arise at the end of the rental is collected or refunded at the rental point. The credit card holder must be present in person during the rental. Rental cannot be made with someone else's credit card. A certain amount of deposit is collected in addition to the rental fee from the credit card presented by the customer, depending on the brand and model of the rented vehicle.
Therefore, there must be a sufficient limit (up to the total rental and deposit amount). The deposit amount collected is refunded to the same card after deducting any additional services, guarantees, missing fuel, damages, fines, etc., not included in the reservation. Due to bank internal communication, deposit refunds are reflected on the credit card within 3-5 business days.
The user is responsible for any liability and financial traffic fines resulting from non-compliance with current traffic laws. Traffic and toll fines incurred during the rental period but received by us after the end of the rental are collected from the person and/or company specified in the rental agreement. The time spent due to the seizure of the vehicles by official or local authorities for any reason is accepted during the contract period. In traffic fines written to the license plate, when the traffic fine is notified to us, it is paid at a discounted rate, and a service fee related to the traffic fine is applied simultaneously.
Turkish citizens renting a vehicle with driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries are aware and accept that they can only drive in our country under the following conditions:
1. Vehicles can be driven for a maximum of 1 year from the date of entry into our country with driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries.
2. Those who have been in our country for more than six months must carry the Turkish translations of their driver's licenses, approved by foreign missions or notaries, along with their driver's licenses while driving.
To drive in our country after one year, driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries must be exchanged with Turkish driver's licenses.
Foreign nationals renting a vehicle with driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries are aware and accept that they can drive in our country under the following conditions:
1. Vehicles can be driven for a maximum of six months from the date of entry into our country with driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries.
2. To drive in our country after six months, driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries must be exchanged with Turkish driver's licenses.
In driver's licenses of foreigners, if the date of issue and the name of the customer are written in the Latin alphabet and are legible, vehicle rental can be made. If it is not written in the Latin alphabet, a notarized translation is required.
Subject to the provisions of relevant laws and bilateral and multilateral agreements, the procedures and principles for the exchange of driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries with Turkish driver's licenses are specified below:
- Application can be made to any traffic registration office.
- The information and documents that must be submitted during the application are determined by the General Directorate of Security.
- In those who will receive a driver's license, except for the education and exam conditions specified in Article 41 of Law No. 2918, the same requirements for not being convicted, age, education, and health are required. However, for foreigners with diplomatic immunity, the written statements of conformity to the necessary conditions are taken as the basis, except for the conditions of education and examination specified in the same article, taking into account the provisions and practices of bilateral or multilateral agreements.
- Examination and investigation may be carried out about the accuracy of the driver's license through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or our foreign missions if necessary.
- Temporary foreign driver's licenses are not exchanged.
- The driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries are sent to the relevant country.
- Foreigners who drive without fulfilling the conditions specified in this article for the exchange of driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries in our country are processed in accordance with Article 39 of Law No. 2918.
